Our Lord, Easter just came and we are still in awe of its mysteries. We ask that you meet us here in the tensions of doubt and faith, fear and hope and hear our prayers of petition.
Father, creator of Heaven and Earth. We pray for those who struggle to say your prayers, your creed and to accept your divine grace because of past fears, abuse, losses or anger. Grant them your spirit of peace so that because of your faithfulness to them, they may experience your everlasting love:
Father, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
Almighty God, we thank you for giving us the church to share in saying your prayers. Although these prayers sometimes confuse us and are hard to say , we are grateful for a way to enter into conversation with you and we thank you for the intersession you offer to us:
Jesus, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
Lord, we praise you for the open arms you offer us in prayer. We offer our prayers for those who are struggling to believe in anything right now, especially themselves. We name those on our hearts to you now, silently or aloud:
Holy Spirit, in your mercy. Hear our prayer.
